Taco Classics is an express taco tour that delivers the essentials of traditional daytime tacos.
Our Taco Classics tour is an express tour designed to give you a taste of traditional morning/daytime tacos from all family-owned food carts in PV. This family friendly tour is great for kids and adults. Starting at our office in el Centro we take guests through the bustling neighborhood of Emiliano Zapata/Romantic Zone. In just about 2.5 hours you will try 5 full-size portions of essential street tacos, refreshing agua fresca, Mexican Coca Cola, bottled water, and a handmade frozen dessert. You’ll also stop by a tortilla factory to see how tortillas are made.
Tacos may included: beef birria, pork carnitas, pork chorizo, batter-dipped fish, carne asada, or pork adobada.
This tour is not suitable for vegetarians, vegans, or those with a plant-based diet. Though we can accommodate most food allergies (gluten, dairy, shellfish, nuts) there are no protein substitutions available on this tour.
Our Taco Classics tour has a max capacity of 12 guests, and all guests present for the tour must have a prepaid ticket.

Meeting Point
Taco Classics tour begins outside of the Vallarta Eats’ office Independencia 231, el Centro. Your Vallarta Eats Foodie Guide can be identified by the Vallarta Eats shirt they will be wearing. If you are driving please allow time to find parking. This location is easy to find and many bus routes will take you there. Also, any taxi/Uber will know this location. Make sure to check our FAQ for driving times from nearby hotels and resorts. Information on driving times given to you by your hotel concierge may be based on old traffic patterns, and we are unable to wait for late guests and late arriving guests will not receive refunds.
What to Bring
- Cash for any additional purchases and tour guide gratuity.
- Tour runs rain or shine. Please check weather and dress accordingly.
- Please wear comfortable shoes and bring your sunscreen. This is a walking tour.
Cancellation Policy
Tours or individual tickets cancelled more than 48 hours in advance of scheduled tour time will receive a full refund. Tours canceled fewer than 48 hours can be rescheduled with a $20 rebooking fee per guest, but are not eligible for refund. Tours that are rebooked cannot be refunded even prior to the 48 hour cancelation window. Guests who are “No-Shows” — guests who do not show up for their scheduled tour time or are not present when the tour leaves the starting point (10 minutes after the tour’s scheduled start time) are not eligible for refund, rescheduling, credit, or to join the tour in progress. Unless mandated by the national weather authority, tours run rain or shine, and tours will not be canceled once the tour has started. Guests who decide to abandon a tour for any reason once the tour has started are not eligible for refund, rescheduling, or credit.
Gift Cards and Gift Certificates are non-refundable.
Payment in cash is non-refundable.
Booking insurance is available for purchases of a $9.99 flat fee made through the website and covers cancelations made between 24 and 48 hours prior to tour start time
Custom tours are subject to cancellation policies as agreed upon between client and Vallarta Eats.
