March marks our 15th year as Vallarta’s Original Food Tour and we are celebrating by offering a limited-time taco tour in honor of 2011, the year Vallarta Eats started. As our gift to you, we are offing our 15th Anniversary Taco Tour for only $20.11 USD on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays for the month of March, and extended through May, Mondays at 11am.
This Anniversary tour is designed to give you a taste of traditional morning/daytime tacos from family-owned food carts around Emiliano Zapata, some that have been with us all 15 years! In 2.5 hours you will have 5 distinct types of tacos, refreshing agua fresca, Mexican Coca Cola, bottled water, and a handmade frozen dessert to keep you cool and hydrated.
Tacos included: beef birria, pork carnitas, beef asada, pork chorizo, and Baja fish*
This tour is not suitable for pescatarians, vegetarians, vegans, or those with a plant-based diet. Though we can accommodate most food allergies (gluten, dairy, shellfish, nuts) there are no protein substitutions available on this tour.
There is one General Admission Price of $20.11 for all guests ages from 0 – 99+ years.
Our 15th Anniversary Tour has limited access to bathrooms, is open to up to 15 guests, and moves at a swift pace. It is not recommended for those with mobility issues or sensitivity to heat.

For Vegetarians, we recommend booking Tacos after Dark as it has the most flexibility for substitutions. None of Vallarta Eats food tours are suitable for Vegan or Plant-Based lifestyles.

- The final total does not include tip for your guide, but can be added during checkout or given in cash (Pesos preferred) the day of the tour

What's Included
Included: All predetermined food, bottled water (1), Mexican Coca Cola, and select aqua fresca beverages.
Excluded: Additional foods, alcoholic beverages, or tour photos. This tour does not include a Vallarta Eats “Signature” tote bag. Please consider our Signature Taco Tour if interested in more value-added inclusions.
Reminder: There are no protein substitutions. Guests must be open to eating proteins including beef, pork, and fish.

Meeting Point
Our Anniversary Taco Tour begins outside of the Vallarta Eats’ office Independencia 231, el Centro. Your Vallarta Eats Foodie Guide can be identified by the Vallarta Eats shirt they will be wearing. If you are driving please allow time to find parking. Make sure to check our FAQs for driving times from nearby hotels and resorts. We are unable to wait for late guests and the tour will depart promptly at 11am. Late arriving guests will not receive refunds, credits, or be able to reschedule for another date.
What to Bring
- Cash for any additional purchases and tour guide gratuity
- Bottled water in addition to the initial bottle of water provided
- This is a walking tour, so please wear comfortable shoes and bring your sunscreen
Cancellation Policy
Tours or individual tickets cancelled more than 48 hours in advance of scheduled tour time will receive a full refund. Tours canceled fewer than 48 hours can be rescheduled with a $20 rebooking fee, but are not eligible for refund. Tours that are rebooked cannot be refunded even prior to the 48 hour cancelation window. Guests who are “No-Shows” — guests who do not show up for their scheduled tour time of 11am are not eligible for refund, credit, or rescheduling. Late arriving guests will not be permitted to join the tour in progress, so arrive early. Guests who decide to abandon a tour for any reason once the tour has started are not eligible for refund, credit, or rescheduling.
Promo codes and other discounts or offers are not valid on the purchase of tickets for this tour.
Booking insurance is available for purchases of a $9.99 flat fee made through the website and covers cancelations made between 24 and 48 hours prior to tour start time.
