Welcome to Vallarta Eats’ newest tour, Boozy Brunch. Curated and lead by Vallarta Eats’ owner, Boozy Brunch offers a relaxed yet elevated experience that mixes traditional Mexican breakfast foods along with familiar brunch classics, and of course a great selection of cocktails. This experience, unique to Vallarta Eats, starts in the tropical gardens of the Rio Cuale Island and wraps up on the beach sipping margaritas seaside.
Boozy Brunch is a great option for travelers looking for a culturally immersive experience that maintains a relaxed vacation vibe. It is the perfect way to get a taste of the food and culture of Vallarta while enjoying the familiar pleasures of brunching with friends.
The tour includes stops at three sit-down restaurants for savory foods with a cocktail at each, fresh-brewed regional coffee at select stops, and we also check out one of PV’s newest drink lounges for their signature Boozy Frosé cocktail.
Boozy Brunch is also a great option for vegetarian guests.

- Eggs Benedict (Classic or Florentine)
- Seasonal fruit, granola, and yogurt bowl
- Fluffy fruit-topped pancakes with whipped cream
- Deep-fried cheese tamal with mushrooms or chorizo
- Classic chilaquiles with chicken and green salsa
- Birria short rib and poached egg skillet
- Avocado toast (with or without a fried egg)
Drinks*
- Fresh-brewed regional coffee (regular or decaf)
- Mimosa cocktail
- Paloma cocktail
- Frozen rosé and vodka cocktail, or Aperol spritz

We can accommodate common allergies and food sensitivities including gluten, diary, and nuts. Though each stop includes a hearty vegetarian option, none of Vallarta Eats food tours are suitable for Vegan or Plant-Based lifestyles.

Tasting Vallarta is a walking tour and it begins outside of Le Bistro Jazz Cafe on the Rio Cuale island at the statue of Director John Houston

Please look for your Vallarta Eats guide, our owner Stephen, outside of Le Bistro Jazz Cafe by the statue of John Houston. If you are driving, please allow time to find parking. This location is easy to find and many bus routes will take you close to the tour starting point. Also, any taxi will know this location. Make sure to check our FAQ for driving times from nearby hotels and resorts. Information on driving times given to you by your hotel concierge may be based on old traffic patterns, and we are unable to wait for late guests.
What to Bring
- Cash for any alcohol in addition to the four cocktails included with the package (though you will not leave hungry)
- Due to the elevated setting of some of the locations we stop we encourage guests to avoid wearing t-shirts, tank tops, or flip flops
- This is a walking tour, please wear comfortable shoes and come prepared for the elements
- During summer months please come prepared for potential evening rain
Cancellation Policy
Tours or individual tickets cancelled more than 48 hours in advance of scheduled tour time will receive a full refund. Tours canceled fewer than 48 hours can be rescheduled with a $20 rebooking fee, but are not eligible for refund. Tours that are rebooked cannot be refunded even prior to the 48 hour cancelation window. Guests who are “No-Shows” — guests who do not show up for their scheduled tour time or are not present when the tour leaves the starting point (10 minutes after the tour’s scheduled start time) are not eligible for refund or rescheduling. Unless mandated by the national weather authority, tours run rain or shine, and tours will not be canceled once the tour has started. Guests who decide to abandon a tour for any reason once the tour has started are not eligible for refund or rescheduling.
Gift Cards and Gift Certificates are non-refundable.
Booking insurance is available for purchases of a $9.99 flat fee made through the website and covers cancelations made between 24 and 48 hours prior to tour start time.
Custom tours are subject to cancellation policies as agreed upon between client and Vallarta Eats.
