Terms and Conditions

Please read the following terms and conditions before booking your Vallarta Eats Food Tour.

On your Vallarta Eats Food Tour you will be led by a Foodie guide with tour information and personalized information as needed.  Food and beverages will be provided throughout the tour at designated locations and in addition there will be information and educational stops.  Vallarta Eats provides one bottle of water per guest per tour.

Vallarta Eats will not be responsible for expenses occurring from the purchase of alcohol, souvenirs, food or beverages not offered in the tour, medical supplies, or any others cost not included in the tour.

Reservation and Payment:
We require the tour to be booked in its entirety, before the tours commences.  This payment can easily be made by credit card via PayPal.  Reservations should be made 5 days in advance of the tour date. The tour is not considered confirmed until it has been paid for.

Cancellation:
We doubt you will want to cancel your Vallarta Eats Food Tour, but if a situation arises, please contact us at info@vallartaeats.com.   Tours cancelled more than 48 hours in advance will receive a 50% refund.  Any tours cancelled less than 48 hours in advance are not eligible for refund.  In the event that you do not reach the start point and miss the tour, please contact us to reschedule — a refund will not be provided.

Cancellation by vendors or Vallarta Eats:
Although we have carefully selected our vendors, they are not in our employ.  Therefore, in the event that a location is closed, we will choose a back-up site location to provide a complete tour, and no refunds will be issued for location changes.

In the unlikely event that Vallarta Eats must cancel its tour, we will provide the guests whom have paid with an alternative tour or a full refund.  In the case of a refund, money will be refunded within 10 business days.

Schedules of Tours:
Due to the fluctuation of tourists in Puerto Vallarta, we cannot estimate the exact amount of time that will be spent at each location.  The tours have 2-6 guests and the larger the number of guests, the longer the tour time.  Our guides will do their best to stay on schedule, but in the event that the tour is longer or shorter than the scheduled amount of time, no refunds will be issued.

Restaurants and Food:
The locations that Vallarta Eats has selected to participate in our tours are of the finest quality.  We have had many years of personal experience with them.  However, all operations are their own entities and are not employed by Vallarta Eats.  If you have any food allergies or serious dislikes for certain foods, please make sure you inform your guide.  It is your personal responsibility to know what you are eating.

Legal Information:
Paying for a tour booking to Vallarta Eats grants and constitutes consent of the tour to the terms and conditions explained in the terms and conditions.  Vallarta Eats reserves the right to refuse to continue the tour for any disruptive or disrespectful customer without notice and without refund.

Vallarta Eats cannot be held responsible for external acts beyond its control, such as acts of nature, the condition of government property, local traffic, etc.  We are not responsible for damages or losses by persons or entities not controlled by Vallarta Eats, such as restaurants, vendors, pedestrians, etc.  In the unlikely event that any claims may arise, all parties consent to have their grievances heard under the jurisdictions and venues of the courts in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico.

Waiver of Liability:
Please read and agree to the following Waiver and Release of Liability before booking your Vallarta Eats Food Tour.

I agree that Vallarta Eats and all of the persons in its employ do not own or operate any entity which provides goods and services for my tour.  As a result, I will not hold Vallarta Eats liable for any negligent or willful act by any third party.  In addition, I acknowledge that I have voluntarily agreed to participate in the tour designated on this application. I do so with the knowledge of the risks and dangers involved, including but not limited to:

I hereby agree to be responsible for my own welfare and property and accept any and all risks associated with my Vallarta Eats Food Tour.  I release and forever discharge Vallarta Eats from and against any and all liability arising from my participation in the tour, an agreement that is binding to myself or whom may represent me.
